Art Making Café

Join us for an art-making café! We will share stories, memories and thoughts about the role food plays in community-building while having fun making art. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to get involved.

All are welcome – no experience is required and art supplies will be provided!

This project is part of a larger SSHRC project that examines food, community and civic engagement. This event is presented by CBU’s Office of Research and Graduate Studies and will be led by Dr. Tanya Brann-Barrett.

Tanya Brann-Barrett uses multimedia and art-making as tools of inquiry to facilitate public dialogue about people’s experiences and perceptions of community, engagement, learning and belonging. Tanya is the Dean of Research, Teaching & Graduate Studies and teaches Communication at CBU.
