Hapa Zome: is a technique which uses a hammer/mallet to transfer plant and flower pigments onto cloth/ or paper.
Mel Sweetnam is an ecological textile artist in Goose Cove, who specializes in botanical dyes and prints, derived from organic plants on her own property, and uses natural fibres to create one of a kind wearables and other items. Mel is a member of the South Haven Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
