“A to Z Challenge”

Audience: Teens and Adults:

Background

  • Read your way through the alphabet!
  • The A-Z reading challenge is pretty self explanatory – pick a book to go with each letter of the alphabet
  • The letter can be represented by the book title or the Author’s name
    • For example, both books below could count for the letter S
      • The Secret Wisdom of Nature – Peter Wohlleben
      • Neon Prey – John Sanford
  • Patrons who finish will be entered in a draw for a prize basket
  • Share images on social media with the hashtag #AtoZChallenge and tag @CBRLibrary for additional entries for the prize basket!

Rules

  • Open to patrons 12+
  • You can join at any time during the year, but only titles completed before December 31st, 2020 will count
  • Each title can only be counted once
  • Paperbacks, hardbacks, large print, graphic novels, eBooks, audiobooks, and eAudiobooks all count
  • Participants who have read from A to Z by December 31, 2020 will submit their reading logs to the library! Patrons will then be entered into a draw to win a basket. If nobody completes the challenge, the patron who has read their way through most of the alphabet will win.
  • Keep track of your reading using the A to Z Challenge Tracking Sheet

Tracking sheets are linked above and also available at all Library branches!
