Summer Reading Club – Dragons, Dreams & Daring Deeds!
June 28 - August 16
Join the children’s or teen/adults program to read books and participate in fun activities all summer long, from June 28th to August 16th! With every completed challenge, earn a ballot towards three grand prizes for both programs!
Here’s how it works:
Children’s program
Go to your local library to register and pick up a booklet. Kids who register during the first week will be entered into an early bird draw for a Little Tikes Shady Jump ‘N Slide Bouncer!
- Read and do fun activities!
- For every 300 minutes you read (up to a total of 1200 minutes), you get a ballot for the Grand Prize draw and an item from the treasure chest.
- Earn two bonus ballots by doing activities!
Grand Prizes: A one night stay courtesy of the Holiday Inn Sydney Waterfront, a $100 LEGO gift card, and a scooter and helmet
Teens/Adults
Go to your local library to register and pick up a pamphlet.
- Read and do fun challenges and earn one ballot for every challenge you complete!
Grand Prizes: Wake up in the Past, an overnight experience at the Fortress of Louisbourg courtesy of Parks Canada, a $100 Indigo Gift Card, and a $100 Cineplex Gift Card
