15th Annual Knit-a-thon

Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels are invited to make warm knitted items for local charities and raise funds for children’s programs via sponsored pledges! Participants can win great door prizes.

Please bring a lawn chair and bagged lunch; tea & cold drinks will be provided.

Call the McConnell Library at 902-562-3161 to register.

• Yarn, needles, and patterns donated to the library will be available at the Knit-a-thon, but you may also bring your own.

• Donations of yarn, supplies, and finished items can be made at the Knit-a-thon or at any CBRL branch.

• Please bring completed Pledge Forms and all pledged money to the Knit-a-thon. If you cannot attend, please bring them to your local branch before August 27th.

• Funds raised from pledges support CBRL Children’s & Teen Programs across the region.

• Tax Receipts can be issued for donations of $10 or more if requested and a complete address is provided.

Note: If it rains, the Knit-a-thon will take place in the McConnell Library, Sydney (same time & date).
