Discovery Centre Science Show
The Nova Scotia Provincial Library has partnered with the Discovery Centre to put on a summer tour. CBRL is pleased to be hosting their live science show.
Sail the Sour Seas? Fire, acid, and shellfish. No, it’s not a Maritime seafood recipe!
In this engaging live science show, we will connect how humans’ CO2 emissions are causing our oceans to become more acidic and explore the impact this will have on shellfish populations and all of us who
depend on them.
* Space is limited in the North Sydney Library. Registration is required. Please call 902-794-3272 to register.
Discovery Centre:

GenAction:
GenAction is a Discovery Centre-driven partnership to inspire youth to Climate Action. The purpose of the GenAction movement is to, in collaboration with nearly 30 science centres across Canada, increase youth’s understanding of climate change science, empower them to take action on climate change, and inspire them to become leaders in climate action now and into the future. The collective goal is to inspire over 200,000 K-12 youth in every province and territory of Canada by 2024.
