This talk will touch on the history, the famous sights and the impacts this place had, and continues to have, on the relationship between the modern world and its natural environment. David’s talk — accompanying the pictures — will attempt to capture the history, the beauty and some of the significance of this magical place.  The pictures were taken by him (and others more famous) over many years.  Not the real thing, but a lot cheaper and faster than going there yourself!
