DESCRIPTION:Spring has sprung!\n\nWhile spring cleaning around your homes and gardens this season\, Cape Breton Regional Library hopes that you will consider donating some plants and gently-used items for our upcoming Plant and Yard Sale fundraiser.\n\nThere is great environmental impact when you pass your gently-used items on to someone else who could use them. Also\, when cutting back your perennials for optimum growth\, sharing these cuttings will bring great joy to others and add variety to their gardens.\n\nIf you would like to contribute something to CBRL’s Plant and Yard Sale\, please bring your gently-used items and labeled plants in soil to Library Headquarters on Charlotte Street between June 1st and June 10th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.\n\nIf you would like to shop for some great deals\, please join us on sale day:\nSaturday\, June 13th from 10am – 2pm. DESCRIPTION:Do you have artwork hiding in your studio that you would never hang in a gallery? Not good enough to sell? Maybe an uneven mug or a painting that didn’t work? \nWe want it! \nWe are hosting a perfectly imperfect giveaway table- a community event where artists donate “not for sale works” and people are invited to take them. \nThis is about: reducing waste\, celebrating process over perfection\, making art accessible to everyone\, letting go of creative guilt\, and sparking joy in unexpected ways. \nWhat we are looking for: \n-Knit\, hooked\, woven and sewn textiles. \n-Paintings\, drawings\, prints and mixed media. \n-Small sculptures \n  \nDrop off details: Drop off anytime June 2nd to June 6th to Baddeck Public library (520 Chebucto St\, Baddeck) Feel free to include your name\, title\, and medium in a short note. \n  \n
