DESCRIPTION:FEATURE FILM: GONDOLA (GEORGIA\, 2023) \nIva\, the new cable car attendant\, begins her job overseeing the gondolas that connect the valley to the peaks. Every half hour\, as one gondola ascends and the other descends\, she crosses paths with Nino\, the attendant on the opposite route. Known for his unique no-dialogue style\, director Veit Helmer fantastically depicts a story between two women\, set in the sky\, running through the beautiful mountains of Georgia. \nWe are screening this film under the library’s Kanopy license. \n
