DESCRIPTION:Come join us at the Glace Bay library for a fun pop up concert from ECMA Children’s Artist of the Year Nominee Sugarwoods! \nSugarwoods Founder Emma McMullin is an Artist\, Educator\, and Producer based in Georgetown\, Texas.  Hailing from the east coast of Canada\, McMullin was awarded the Governor General’s Medal of Canada in 2006 for Leadership in the Arts. \nAs a folk singer & songwriter\, McMullin publishes under Sugarwoods.  Their group received an ECMA Nomination for Children’s Artist of the Year (2026).  As a solo performer\, Emma McMullin has been featured on CBC Radio One’s Songwriter’s Circle and awarded the Northrop Frye prize for Excellence in Songwriting.  Ms. McMullin is the founder of Good JuJu Records\, LLC\, where she produces music for everyone *but mostly for kids.  Her first full-length album\, Kind + Wild (published under Sugarwoods)\, is set to release Spring 2026. \n
