Banned Books Club: Snow Falling on Cedars

The Banned Books Book Club was started in the fall of 2022, and thus far they have read Black Like Me, The Hate U Give, The Kite Runner, and more. Their next book, which they will be reading in January and February, is David Guterson’s Snow Falling on Cedars.

The club reads a few chapters each week and then meets to discuss them. The club focuses on the reasons the book was challenged or banned. If it is an older challenge or ban, this also includes how these views in society may have changed and how the book would be received today.
