The Cape Breton Regional Library website (cbrl.ca) is owned and operated by the Cape Breton Regional Library. We are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our user community. The intent of our privacy policy is to inform you, the user, about the information that we may collect about visitors to our site, how we use that information, and about our disclosure practices.
Site Usage Information
CBRL gathers site usage information from all visitors to its site. This data is used to help determine general usage patterns and to fine-tune layout in order to ensure that our site is as usable and enjoyable an experience as possible. Individually identifiable information will not be released to third parties without that individual’s prior consent. Visitors are specifically asked for individually identifiable information when signing up for email newsletters.
