FILM: “THE DREAMER: BECOMING KAREN BLIXEN” Part 1 & 2 (2022)

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, the library will be screening a 6-part series on the life of Karen Blixen. Beginning at the time of the author’s return to Denmark in 1931 after many years in East Africa, penniless, sick and divorced, THE DREAMER: BECOMING KAREN BLIXEN depicts her journey from this point to becoming the renowned writer of “Out of Africa”, “Babette’s Feast”, and other short story collections and novellas.
