Cape Breton Regional Library is seeking community members to serve on its Accessibility Committee.

Applications will be accepted until October 19th 2026.

The Accessibility Committee provides advice and guidance to help CBRL identify, prevent and remove barriers to library services, spaces, programs, communications and employment. The committee will also help review progress on the Library’s Accessibility Plan and identify action items. The committee will meet either in person or virtually four times a year.

We are seeking community members who:

Are people with disabilities;

Care for or support a person with a disability; or

Work or volunteer with an organization that supports, serves or advocates for people with disabilities.

Applicants are not required to disclose a diagnosis or personal medical information
