Our collections are constantly evolving to respond to the current interests and needs of our community. In recent years we have expanded our Library of Things collection to include more recreational items such as snowshoes and disc golf sets, STEAM Kits, and functional equipment such as Radon detectors and Light Therapy Lamps. We also have a growing collection of assistive tools for persons with print disabilities including DAISY Players, AAC Devices, and Autism Kits.

Thanks to your incredible support over the past two years, we’ve been able to expand our collections, introduce new resources, and offer more materials for library users of all ages and interests. This year,we’re setting our sights even higher.
When you donate to the library’s Books and Beyond campaign, you have a lasting, positive impact on your community. Your donation stays right here in Cape Breton and all funds go directly to building our library collection.
