Mi’kmaq Connections – Youth Workshop

Join Juno-winning fiddler and singer Morgan Toney and Keith Mullins (ECMA winner) for an interactive musical experience to learn about Mi’kmaq and Celtic music, language, and culture. Mi’kmaq Connections is all about connection, positivity, teachings, and showing how the World should be – living in harmony. Participants will learn how to do the Ko’jua, explore song lyrics, Cape Breton fiddle sets, and more.

For youth ages 5-12 – register participants in the space below.

The workshop will be followed by a FREE concert for all ages at 2PM (on the children’s side of the library).

These events are part of Exploring Cultural Roots Through Music series and are generously supported by the Province of NS Dept. of Communities, Culture, Tourism & Heritage.
