Enter your valid Cape Breton Regional Municipality or Victoria County mailing address. 

Currently text messages can be sent to notify you when an item you requested is available for pick-up.

For Children's Cards Only

ages 13 and younger

Please enter the first and last name of the parent / guardian who will be responsible for materials borrowed on their child's card. Leave blank if this is an adult application.

User Agreement

By checking the box below you agree that to take responsibility for the materials borrowed on your library card and to abide by the rules and regulations of Cape Breton Regional Library. Parent/Guardians of children 13 years old and younger agree to take responsibility for all materials borrowed on their child's card. *

Do you live in CBRM or Victoria County?
  • Yes. Please fill in this form and library staff will send your new library card to you in the mail.
  • No. If you live in another municipality in Nova Scotia and would like to register for a library card, please visit the website for your library region (see Nova Scotia Public Libraries Map)

Are you a teacher, daycare worker, or employee of a residential care facility?
