If you’ve wanted to try tabletop role playing (TTRP) like Dungeons & Dragons this is your chance to be introduced to the basics. Join Derek Stewart, a long-time fan of tabletop role playing for some guidance in the game. Dungeons & Dragons is simply interactive storytelling. Players gather together in one room to take part in an imaginary adventure that often involves exploring a castle or dungeon, defeating monsters and discovering treasure. You’ll be playing in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth and you will play a short, sample adventure that will introduce you to how to use a character in the adventure, the combat and the magic system. The best way to learn is by playing. Everything you need to play the game will be provided and the only thing you have to bring is your imagination. Space is limited for this session and registration is required.
