Adult Learn to Skateboard Drop-In

Join CBRL and our community partners, Island Skateboard Association and the Sport and Social of CBRM, for an amazing learn-to-skateboard event for adults. If you are 19 years of age or older and would like to give skateboarding a try, drop by the Eltuek Arts Centre plaza on Tuesday, May 14th from 6-8pm. You will have a chance to try one of the library’s five new skateboarding kits and chat with skateboarders. Kits include a ready-to-use board, helmet, and pads. Waivers will be provided at the event and are required in order to participate.

CBRL would like to thank NS Health Authority’s Eastern Zone Central Community Health Board for providing funding to purchase this super-cool sport and recreation equipment that will soon be available for loan with library membership.
