Alex’s grandfather was a talented calligraphy artist, so the tradition is an important one with his family. Calligraphy is also a core part of Chinese culture.

For Alex, who is visiting Cape Breton calligraphy is a fun hobby and he would love the opportunity to share this part of his culture with others.

Following a short presentation participants will learn how to write their name in Chinese calligraphy.
