Introductory Zine-Making Workshop

Talented zine-maker Cora Parago will lead this introductory zine-making workshop in celebration of International Zine Month. All participants will create an 8-page mini-zine from a single sheet of paper, using materials provided. There will be paper, magazines, and used books to cut and paste, glue, pens, markers, stickers, and more!

Never heard of a zine? No problem! Zines are handmade, self-published little magazines that are published in small batches or are one-of-a-kind. The content varies wildly: from personal to political, from funny to abstract, zines offer something for everyone! You can create an ode to your favourite fruit (or band or character), reflect on your most embarrassing moment, celebrate your pet. . .  whatever you want!

Ages 13+. Registration required.
