Visit the McConnell library to see some of the paintings, honours, and objects philanthropist Katharine McLennan donated to CBRL.
Katharine McLennan led an incredible life: she volunteered as a nurse in WWI, studied painting in Europe, helped champion construction of the Fortress of Louisbourg, and donated the land on which the McConnell Library stands.
2-6pm: Drop in to view the exhibition.
6:30pm: Retro slideshow of Katharine McLennan’s travel slides with refreshments.
