Period Underwear Pop-up Giveaway

Drop into the Louisbourg Library during its opening hours on Friday, March 20th (10-11:30am and 2-5:30pm) to pick up a free pair of absorbent, reusable period underwear from The Period Company. Period underwear can be worn instead of—or as back up to—tampons and pads. For more information, see the company’s FAQ page.

A limited selection of styles and a range of sizes (from XS to Plus Size 6X) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that there will be a strict limit of one pair per attendee to allow us to extend the opportunity to as many community members as possible. We are unable to reserve or hold products. Funding for this initiative is part of the Government of Nova Scotia’s cost of living support to increase access to menstrual supplies for all Nova Scotians.
