Polish Heritage in New Aberdeen (“Number 2”): Colouring Contest & Library Outreach

The Glace Bay Library has teamed up with community partners to present a special pop-up event at
at Warden United Church at 44 Fifth Street, New Aberdeen (Glace Bay).

All ages are welcome to join in for a fun afternoon of colouring. Snacks and prizes will be provided. The first twenty participants will also receive a free colouring book!

For this event, we’re using one-of-a-kind sketches by Jeff Wilson in The Polish Cape Bretoners
Colouring Book, with thanks to the St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society and the CBU Tompkins
Institute. It was one of the recommended books for this year’s Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month (September).
