Vial of Life

The new CBRM Seniors Safety Program is partnering with the VON to bring the Vial of Life program to  local libraries. The Vial of Life helps emergency personnel locate important medical details in the event of an emergency in the home. It is designed to speak for you when you can’t speak for yourself.

How does it work? You put the vial containing all your important medical information in the refrigerator. A sticker on the fridge door alerts emergency personnel that the vial is inside.

There’s nothing technical about The Vial of Life. All you need is a writing utensil and a little spare time, and you’ll have your medical information readily available for first responders in an emergency.

Come pick up a vial and learn more about this life-saving program! Someone will be available to help complete the medical form should you like assistance.

No registration necessary.
