Come to the Sydney Mines library and enjoy a relaxing time of trying your hand at knitting or crocheting. We provide hooks and knitting needles, pattern suggestions, yarn, and if you're interested, a basic wooden loom for handheld weaving. This program is intended for ages 8 to adult. No registration is required.

This Pop-Up Book Club is open to all. Drop-in and hear recommendations on popular Polish literature (in English) for all ages, covering a variety of genres. Volunteer readers have been reading selected Polish best-sellers over the summer and they will share their impressions. Light refreshments will be served. September is Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month. |
