Cape Breton University’s Let’s Talk Science take-home science kits for kids 12 and under are available for free at CBRL locations, while supplies last.
The kit includes supplies to complete 10 weeks of science missions and instructions for week 1’s mission ‘Special Agent Training’. Watch the videos below for demonstrations of each activity.
In case you don’t have a science kit yet, here’s what you’ll need for mission 1:
- a ruler
- a pencil
- paper
- 5 straws
- 1 sheet of cardstock
- tape
- string or yarn
- scissors.
