Programs for our youngest library members feature rhymes, songs, puppets and stories to help build early literacy skills in children and provide a gathering space for parents and caregivers.
Programs for Preschoolers continue to focus on early literacy as well as creative skills and early STEM skills.
Some programs listed below will be appropriate for the whole family. Others have specific age restrictions and/or registration requirements. All programs are free!

Children ages 5-12
Library programs for school-age children focus on fun hands-on learning opportunities. Programs may include Lego drop-ins, STEAM activities, Theme days (e.g.. Star Wars Day, Beach Party) and crafts.

Library Activities for Teens ages 13-19
The library offers a safe space for teens to relax, read, study and get together with their friends. All branches have wi-fi and public access computers complete with printers & scanners. Activities for teens vary by library branch. Past activities have included teen games nights, craft-to-sell workshops , songwriting workshops, open-mics, writing clubs, and teen wellness sessions.
