Library Tours

Tours are free of charge and are available during daytime or evening hours.

Class Visits
Teachers may book class visits at any branch of the Regional Library. Tours for grades P-3 may include storytelling, a tour of the library branch, and a film. Library instruction, including how to use Digital Library services and how to search the library catalogue, is available for grades 4 and up.  All tours must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance.

Group Tours
Group leaders (Beavers, Sparks, etc.) may book library tours at any branch of the Regional Library. The content of the tour will be dependent upon the age level of the group. All tours are free of charge and are approximately one hour in duration. Tours may be booked for daytime or evening hours. A minimum of two weeks advance booking is required.

Adult Tours
Instructional tours for adult groups and classes are available at all library branches. Tours include information on getting a library card, finding library materials and using the online catalogue, and a description of programs and services.  A minimum of two weeks advance booking is required.
