A fun, drop-in story-time to introduce babies to books, songs, rhymes and play at their library! This series is for parents/ caregivers and babies up to 18 months. Drop-in program - registration is not required. April 17 & 24 and May 1 & 8 *May 8th session will be a special baby-safe sensory event!
Thursdays from 11 AM – 2 PM, our Digital Literacy Trainer is available for drop-in sessions. Bring your device, and stop by to learn how to navigate the SamePage catalogue, access library e-resources like Kanopy and Hoopla, create an email account and more. Funded by @NS Community Technology Network.
Newcomers are invited to practice their English language skills in a conversational setting with volunteers from the community. This is a drop in event, no registration is needed.
Senior Safety Navigator, Barry Gordon and Community Police Officer, Gary Fraser will share safety tips for seniors: including, the Vials of Life program; preventing falls; managing other risks around the home and staying safe in the community too. Everyone welcome. Registration not required.
Do you crochet? We need your help! Looking for volunteers who are familiar with amigurumi style crocheting to help create some cute buddies for a children's program.
