Books and Backroads: CBC Book Club

CBC Radio’s Books and Backroads will be coming to Cape Breton this summer! Seven libraries across the Maritimes will host a book club on a book with a local focus, or written by a Maritime author.

Book Club discussions will be taped and featured on morning shows in the Maritimes throughout the summer.

Louisbourg Library will be the venue for a book club discussion on The Spoon Stealer, by Lesley Crewe (winner of the Jim Connors Dartmouth Book Award for fiction in 2021)

There will be a meet & greet with the CBC team from 5-6pm ahead of the Book Club discussion at 6pm.

Everyone is welcome to the meet & greet part of the evening. Light refreshments will be served.
